Parkinson's Disease
Movement Disorders Clinic -- A group of dedicated neurologists and neurosurgeons is available to evaluate and treat patients with Parkinson's Disease, severe intention tremor, and other movement disorders. A variety of options is available for care of individuals with movement disorders. Medication is usually helpful, but when it is no longer effective, deep brain stimulators can be surgically placed. Botox injections may also be used to reduce tremor. After a thorough evaluation of the patient by the NENA team, an optimal treatment plan will be recommended.
